Working with children, families, schools and organisations to support positive mental health and well being in Cheshire and the North West.
I have worked with children and young people for over 25 years, as a teacher for 20 years and then as a Play Therapist and Parent-Child Attachment Practitioner.
I am passionate about working with children and young people, especially when it comes to their mental health and well being. Supporting them and their parents and carers when they are struggling, teaching them about mental health and helping them to develop their confidence and self esteem is my aim. Play and Creative Arts Therapy is a play-based method for helping children and adolescents with behavioural and emotional problems to help themselves. Unlike adult therapies where the focus is on talking, play therapy enables children to explore issues creatively using play, their natural form of communication and creative arts such as music, role play, art and craft.
See Play Therapy page for more details.
